Abstract: The article is devoted to the issue of non-performing assets in India banking sector. The main focus is made on the NPA management procedure and practices, as well as the decision making process in this regard is examined. The possible changes in the existing practices directed to the improvement in the scenario of NPA (Non-Performing Asset) management were showed. The economic, social, financial and psychological aspects were also examined.
