Abstract:
In this paper, it is argued that notion of what credence is affects how one should view and solve the sleeping beauty problem. If credence is decoupled from using all known information to approximate probabilistic distribution of a (mathematical and classical) stochastic process, then credence may have to be updated even if there is no new information.
