Research: Gift-giving in China follows the norms

Abstract: Gift-giving is a common practice around the world. In Asian societies influenced by Confucianism, gift-giving involves complex norms and underlying meanings in interpersonal relationships. Gift-giving in China is a deeply integrated aspect of various social interactions, including social obligations in politics and business.
