Abstract:
This paper contains 12 Case Studies of Bangladesh Digital Security Act(DSA) 2018 Victims i.e. Khadijatul Kubra, Didarul Islam Bhuiyan, Mamunur Rashid Nomani, and others. We delineated the plights of the accused under the DSA from its adoption in 2018 to September 2023. We also analyzed the overall impact of this act on the freedom of expression of the citizens of Bangladesh. Another focus point of the paper was on the Cyber Security Act 2023, which is tagged as 'Old Wine in a New Bottle', by civil society intellectuals.
