Centre for Policy Dialogue (cpd)
No 18, CPD Working Paper from Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD)
Abstract:
This paper aims to provide useful insights in understanding the overall corporate responsibility status in the corporate world of Bangladesh as well as to obtain perception of the relationship of corporations with civil society, workers and the consumers. The study, thereby, recognises the valuable views of the representatives of the civil society organisations on issues such as labour rights, community relations, workplace environment and sustainable development. A set of policy recommendations for addressing the major concerns of corporate responsibility has also been sketched out in the paper.
