The opportunities and threats of the Omnichannel in terms of the logistical challenges of the Furniture Industry

Abstract: Both stationary trade and online pure players are finding themselves in a difficult position due to increasing digitization and the Influencing by the dynamically changing trends in a change. In particular, by the furniture industry adaptive behaviour to the present developments is required. By intensifying the market and Competitive landscapes and changes in consumer behaviour with regard to the required merging of shopping channels require and require a rethink. In addition, this necessity is becoming more urgent due to current circumstances such as the Covid 19 pandemic. The omnichannel strategy and its establishment harbor opportunities and threats for the furniture industry, especially with regard to logistical challenges. These are to be recognized, used and rectified.
