Abstract: This study aims to analyze the impact of zakat fitrah on the economic condition of mustahik zakat in Cibiru sub-District og Bandung District. The research method used is an interview to the chairman of DKM At-Tarbiyatul Islamiyah as a strategy of data collection and further search through tracing of existing documents. The results showed that zakat fitrah distributed to the poor, amil, ibnu sabil and fi sabilillah did not give a real effect on the economy mustahik due to the amount received is not too large and can only be used in the short term. Mustahik in East Bandung area, although including urban areas but in this region is still a large area of agricultural land both rice fields and horticultural and livestock farms. The so-called urban farming farm is well known to this suburban society. Organic farming process was introduced by the Department of Agriculture in sub-district of this city, aimed at improving the economy of society in the suburbs.
