Abstract:
Rising electricity demand and growing fiscal constraints have encouraged governments in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regions to consider more cooperative approaches to delivering reliable and affordable electricity services. The development of an effective, integrated electricity market is expected to help achieve these objectives efficiently and sustainably.
