Abstract:
[eng] Efficiency wage and dual labour market . . In this article, we formalize a dual labour market where the firms of the primary sector imperfectly observe their workers' actions. These firms extract the adequate effort level via an efficiency wage procedure of the Shapiro and Stiglitz (1984)'s type. The secondary sector is perfectly competitive and equilibrium between this sector and the unemployment pool obtains through a migration condition similar to the one of Harris and Todaro.
