Abstract:
The paper analyses interplay between decentralization of decision-making, strategies of hiring for key positions and economic results of the firms. The paper demonstrates that decentralized firms that hire for key positions at the competitive market turn to be more successful in their innovation and export activities. The paper also investigates factors that influence firm’s choice of decision-making model and hiring strategy
