A Field Research on Entrepreneurship Education and Determination of the Entrepreneurship Profiles of University Students

Abstract: The main purpose of entrepreneurship education, a person sets up his/her own business is to provide independent work. The main purpose of entrepreneurship education program is to provide the students with necessary basic entrepreneurship and business knowledge, to allow easy transition into private sector and to allow then to carry out their businesses successively. Because of this reason, in this research there is a need to determine the entrepreneurship profiles of university students in order to find out potential entrepreneur, to allow them come into area and to determine the problems of entrepreneurship education. First of all, frequencies and percentages of the obtained data were found to determine the entrepreneurship profiles of the university students. Then, some statistical methods such as chi-square tests, t-test, analysis of variance together with SPSS program were applied to determine whether these data differ according to several variables or not. In the end of the study, it has been found out that the level of entrepreneurship infrastructure of university students is at a sufficient level, those who got entrepreneurship education are more liable to set up their own business.
