Abstract: In the mainstream development economics literature, the analysis of Location Economics bears significant contribution to analyze development of any regional economy. However, such analyses concentrates upon formal sector industries of the developed economies – these rarely consider informal industries of the developing nations. In order to capture the real aspect of industrial scenario of the developing nations, a new dimension has to be added into by incorporating the studies of informal industries therein. In this, the study of specificity of space(s) within which geographically concentrated informal localized agglomerations are operating requires special attention. Here lies the importance of the present study which is an attempt to explore execution of such regional development models operating within the frame of informal clusters of the developing economies.
