Abstract:
This paper focuses on the research of the social capital impact on the modernization of the Russian economy. Authors underscore the magnitude of the institutes for the economic development as well as attempt to demonstrate in what way the quality of the institutional environment (including government regulation) can be upgraded by improving the quality of social capital. Moreover, this paper unfolds the role of social capital in the transformation of economically efficient institutional changes, overcoming obstruction of economic reforms.
