Abstract:
In this paper, "Comparative analysis of the effectiveness of public spending in the field of national defense and law enforcement," the analysis of the core functions and the effects of government spending on defense, conducted a detailed review of the existing in modern economic science of theoretical and empirical approaches to the assessment of the effects of defense spending, the analysis of accounting methodology military expenditure, assessed the impact of defense spending on output growth through fiscal multiplier effect for Russia. The paper also carried out an analysis and assessment of the effectiveness of government spending on defense and law and order. That research has a significant practical value. These authors estimate and lessons learned can be used by public authorities of the Russian Federation in the development of fiscal policy and the formation of long-term economic development strategies.
