Working Papers from Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration
Abstract:
The work is devoted to the analysis of the internal tax competition in the Russian Federation. The paper studies the evolution of this phenomenon, starting from the transition of the Russian Federation to a market economy to the present. The authors conclude that in the most regions with a significant policy of providing tax benefits for corporate income tax, such benefits are provided not as a result of the internal tax competition mechanism, but for other reasons.
