Abstract:
The preprint is devoted to a technique of studying the impact of migration on fertility. Studies of this problem are becoming increasingly relevant against the backdrop of an increase in the scale of world migration. The preprint considers the main hypotheses tested in most modern studies of migration and fertility. For a number of countries of the world, which are today the largest "recipients" of migration, the results of studies on the impact of migration on fertility are examined. The review includes both studies based on official statistics and studies based on quantitative sociological surveys of migrants.
