Abstract:
The work examines a set of issues related to the perception of Russia and Russians in France’s public opinion and to such phenomena as “Informational Wars” (or "Journalistic Wars", as they were called in the nineteenth century), "the Russian threat" and Russophobia - on the example of the relations between Russia and France in the Post-Napoleonic era and on the background of the international relations system of that time. The study of these issues has undoubted scientific and practical relevance.
