SUBJECTIVE RISK PERCEPTION IN ESF FUNDED PROJECTS IN ROMANIA

Andrei Linu and Dãnu? Dumitra?cu

Proceedings of the INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE, 2019, vol. 13, issue 1, 882-902

Abstract: This paper aim to analyse subjective risks perception in ESF (European Social Fund) funded projects in Romania (Human Capital Operational Programme – HC OP and Administrative Capacity Operational Programme - AC OP). For this purposes, beside relevant literature review was designed an online form for evaluation of individual subjective risk perception in relation to events and risks triggered in projects financed by ESF in Romania. A list of usual risks and measures proposed to mitigate/prevent these risks was proposed and participants fulfilled it in an online Google form. Submitted forms were centralised and processed in order to extract relevant conclusions to the paper topic. The final goal of study is to identify best appropriate methods and analysis to be performed in the ESF funded projects in Romania and use these to analyse subjective risk perception of the projects’ experts versus objective risk assessment made by Management Authorities (MAs), Intermediate Bodies (IBs) and their contractors, involved in the OPs management.
