Abstract:
The quality of life (QOL) is a generic notion discussed all over the world nowadays. The present study aims to analyze a specific characteristic of the QOLin urban areas -the public transportation system,which has a direct influence on the relationship between people satisfaction and sustainable quality of life.The purpose of this article is to offer a short review of the literature and to evaluate the existent situation, in order to outline anoverview of the way in that the public transportation system in Bucharest influences on different aspects the general quality of urban life.
