Romanian Statistical Review Supplement, 2015, vol. 63, issue 4, 65-71

Abstract: Practically it is impossible to survey and record the prices for all the goods and services being consumed by the population during a given period of time. That’s why, for surveying and recording these statistic data, a sample of goods and services is utilized, which must be representative through the consumption and prices structure, so that the out coming results may be extended over the entire population, with an error margin as limited as possible.
