Abstract: This paper presents the most significant issues that describe the link between the population of Romania and the evolution of the labor market. Among the indicators analyzed, the authors focused on the resident population, the temporary international migration, the number of employees, the occupied population, the set of indicators regarding the rewards of the labor force, the unemployment, the pensioners.
