Abstract:
Modern challenges of foreign policy in Russia might have a potentially prolonged impact on socio-economic and political situationin the southern parts of the country and create a new frame to tackle external migration and attitude of locals to it. This issue isinvestigated on the basis of a pilot survey held from 25 May to 25 June 2014 in the regions of the Southern federal district.
