Abstract: The article examines the theoretical aspects of the concept of intellectual capital railway enterprises. Various approaches to the determination of the structure of intellectual capital. Highlighted components of intellectual capital for enterprises. Considered the intellectual capital in the context of innovative development of the railway sector. The success of the organization depends on the use of modern technology, improve the technical level, upgrading the quality and implementation of the latest scientific and technological achievements. Prompted to enter a "smart chain" that links intelligent products railway companies in different fields. Allocated intellectual capital as one of the major competitive advantages of company.
