Abstract: The article deals with determination of the benchmark for building a system of payment and financial incentives in the agricultural sector. The author theoretically justifies the need for such a measure as a category of “labor efficiency” and gives a theoretical rationale for the use of this category. A method for calculating performance indicators of labor using the coefficients of the quality of work is offered in this article.
