Abstract: The text discusses four threats in the analysis of data in management science: (1) Too small number of experimental studies; (2) Weakness of theoretical models; (3) Weakness of measurement; (4) Weakness of analysis. Most of these pitfalls apply also to psychological and sociological research. The summary covers answers to reviewers’ potentially unjustified objections concerning samples and lack of hypotheses.
