Abstract: Abstract In this paper, we present the results of a bibliometric analysis of papers published in six SDI-SOR special issues that have been published since 2011. We analyze and visualize the yearly dynamics of the number of published papers, highlight the most prolific authors and countries, and present the papers with the highest impact in terms of the number of citations they have received. A topic analysis is also performed by examining the keyword co-occurrence network based on the union of DE and ID keywords, and how they occur in the papers’ titles and abstracts. This network is decomposed into eight clusters that are characterized in the last part of the paper. They outline the main research topics, which we characterize as motor topics, niche topics, emerging or declining topics, and basic topics.
