Abstract:
Abstract This paper discusses the influence of producer service industry agglomeration on the eco-efficiency of tourism enterprises based on the data from 2014 to 2019. It is found that there was a positive spatial correlation of the eco-efficiency of tourism enterprises in China. In the whole country, eastern and western regions, the specialized agglomeration of producer service industry promoted the eco-efficiency of tourism enterprises. The diversified agglomeration of producer service industry had obvious positive effect on the eco-efficiency of tourism enterprises in the central region. According to the logt test, the two types of agglomeration increased the probability of a tourism enterprise entering the “convergence club with higher eco-efficiency”. The influencing mechanism test indicates that the specialized and diversified agglomeration of producer service industry could improve the eco-efficiency of tourism enterprises through “technology spillover effect” and “demonstration and learning effect”.
