Abstract: Abstract This study investigates the attitudes of engineers toward climate change awareness and sustainable asset management practices. Using a survey developed based on the new ecological paradigm (NEP) framework, data were collected from 50 engineering practitioners in different locations in Ontario. Statistical tests were conducted to measure these attitudes and assess the connection between environmental consciousness and sustainable asset management. The results revealed that most engineers had a moderately positive attitude toward climate change awareness and sustainable asset management practices. Additionally, a statistically meaningful correlation existed between environmental awareness and sustainable asset management practices. Further research is necessary to explore the underlying drivers of these attitudes and their implications for the effective implementation of sustainability initiatives in engineering institutions.
