The Space and Economy of Siberia: From Studying the Features of Development to Designing Directions for the Growth of Social Value

Abstract: Abstract— The historical cycles of development of Siberia are considered from the point of view of developing a new paradigm of its development. The role of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the study and in the scientific substantiation of projects for the development of Siberia is shown on the example of research by Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Particular attention is paid to the areas of growth in the social value of the resources and space of the macroregion as a combination of environmental, social, economic and technological effects, the achievement of which is due to the development and use of certain types of natural resources in a particular area.
