Abstract:
Abstract In the new conditions of large-scale sanctions pressure, the role of the digital sector in the Russian economy requires rethinking and a broad scientific discussion. The purpose of this article is to open such a discussion and, in particular, to describe as accurately as possible the starting conditions in which the domestic digital sector has approached a fundamentally new stage in its development, as well as to assess the possibilities of implementing the priority measures already taken by the Government of the Russian Federation to its adaptation to new challenges. To do this, we propose an extended statistical reconstruction of the main economic indicators of the ICT sector, which makes it possible to identify its key imbalances and problems, as well as a simplified model for calculating the development potential of the sector until 2030, which makes it possible to assess the prospects for implementation and the balance of parameters of the programs for the development of the complex adopted by the Government of the Russian Federation. The article also touches upon the issue of current global trends in the development of digital technologies, which will continue to influence the Russian economy.
