Technological Modernization as a Basis for the Anti-Sanctions Policy

Abstract: Abstract— The article analyzes the impact of sanctions on the development of high-tech sectors in the Russian economy, their consequences for the economy at present and possible risks for the future and evaluates the effectiveness of ongoing antisanctions measures in this area. It is shown that overcoming the critical import dependence in the high-tech sphere is a priority task, the solution of which requires mobilizing the country’s own efforts in the field of scientific and technological development. Proposals are presented for main directions of state policy aimed at overcoming technological dependence, accelerating the processes of technological modernization in Russia as well as mobilization of scientific and technological potential for the development and implementation of key breakthrough technologies.
