Abstract: Zusammenfassung Fiskalregeln im Allgemeinen und der Stabilitäts- und Wachstumspakt im Speziellen werden wiederholt ins Feld geführt, um Staatsverschuldung effektiv zu begrenzen und fiskalische Nachhaltigkeit zu erzeugen. Besondere Aufmerksamkeit verdient hierbei das Konzept der unbeobachtbaren Output-Lücke.
