[EN] This note analyzes the vulnerabilities of the euro zone periphery countries that emerged during the debt crisis, and assesses the cross-sensitivity of the banking sectors that stands out to be an important channel through which the effects of the crisis spread. The analysis portrays that the vulnerabilities are likely to be persistent in the near future, and indicates that it will take time to resolve the problems in the region, which will continue to impose a downside risk on the global growth prospects.
