J. Gregory Dees: J. Gregory Dees is a Professor in the Practice of Social Entrepreneurship and Nonprofit Management and is the founding Faculty Director of the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. In 2007 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Aspen Institute and Ashoka for pioneering work in social entrepreneurship. He is co-editor, with Jed Emerson and Peter Economy, of Enterprising Nonprofits (Wiley, 2001) and Strategic Tools for Social Entrepreneurs, (Wiley, 2002).
