Abstract: The purpose of this report is to select and analyze a system of appropriate indicators characterizing the housing conditions of the population, which would make it possible to optimize management decisions in the field of housing and social policy carried out by central and local management in the interest of sustainable development of the territory. The focus of the analysis is placed on objective indicators establishing average quantitative characteristics in a territorial aspect such as: the number of dwellings, the useful living area per person of the population, the average useful area of a dwelling and etc.
