Abstract: The aim of the present article is to trace the movement of the market of BI solutions, as well as the trends in their development. There are presented the main capabilities which those systems should provide, there are also put forward some new ones. There is analysed the maturity model of business intelligence solutions of Adam Getz 1 . In addition to that there is made a suggestion for updating his model by way of adding another level.
