Abstract: Less than one-fifth of all entrepreneurs are women in Korea (Xavier et al., 2012). We investigate the determinants of Korean women entrepreneurs' firm performance. Specifically, we examine the impact of personal problems and family support and their interaction effects on firm performance. We find empirical support for the negative effects of personal problems on firm performance and positive moderation effects of family support on this link. Implications and future studies are discussed.
