Abstract: Although governments, international organizations, and civil society are devoting efforts to combat sex trafficking, there still exists a lack of accurate information. Consequently, we use linguistic terms to consider the amount of flow between regions. We use the terms such as very low, low, medium, high, and very high to describe the source, transit and destination designations of countries. We then determine source, transit and destination designations for regions by using a weighted average based on population of the countries in their respective region. Finally, we determine upper bounds in linguistic terms for the flow from and into a region.
