Abstract: Schlaganfälle sind eine der häufigsten Ursachen für Behinderung und Pflegebedürftigkeit. Die Verbesserung der postakuten Versorgung kann Beeinträchtigungen mildern und Kosten senken. Sekundärprävention ist von hoher Bedeutung um Reinsulte zu vermeiden. Die subjektive Lebensqualität wird von Schlaganfallpatienten relativ positiv wahrgenommen.
