Abstract: This study tries to find out whether personality of a candidate affects the voters preferences in elections in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or not? It is believed that like other socio-political and economic preferences, candidates personality is also an important determinant of voting behaviour in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This paper is an attempt to identify different indicators (Personal Influence, Socio-economic and Political Status in society) of personality vote in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The study is based on empirical data collected from North, Centre and Southern geographical regions of the province through a multi-stage sampling technique. Chi-square test is used for the data analysis.
