Abstract: -- إن حوار الدكتور سامي حمود ومناقشاته وملاحظاته ليست محل نزاع بيننا وبينه سواء اتفقنا عليها أو كان لنا فيها وجهة نظر أخرى.. ذلك أن الذي صنعه الدكتور حمود -حين نفصل بينه وبين الخلفية السلبية- هو مطلب ابتغيناه ونرجوه بإلحاح شديد. ففي أبرز مكان في الموسوعة لا يزاحم العنوان، وإنما يقابله على الجهة الأخرى من الغلاف جاء تحت عنوان: تنبيه ورجاء، بأنه قد تقرر إعادة طبع هذا الجزء من الموسوعة كل ثلاث سنوات بصفة دورية بهدف إتاحة الفرصة أمام العلماء والباحثين الذين يعنون بقراءة الموسوعة ويرون الإضافة أو الاستدراك بغية الحق والصواب.
