Abstract:
Damasio’s continued research on the hold of the emotional part of the brain in decision making provides us with more and better insights about what it means to be human. Our conscious choices define who we are, separating us from lower animals and enabling us with the power of creation or destruction and the attendant responsibility that accompanies it.
