Abstract: Multiple studies have pointed out that low circulating vitamin D level is associated with poor colorectal cancer (CRC) survival. Patients of all stages of CRC were assessed for the benefit of Vitamin D supplementation on the Overall Survival through conducting multiple systematic reviews. By the aid of these reviews, it was found that Vitamin D is effective in early stages with no mention of late stages. Hence, in this review we are assessing whether vitamin D is also effective in advanced or metastatic stages of CRC.
