Abstract: Hypersplenism is a common disorder in the setting of liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension (PHT). The presence of hypersplenism suggests more advanced liver disease and an increased risk of complications. This work tried to assess frequency of hypersplenism, correlations, and its predictors in patients with liver cirrhosis and PHT.
