Abstract:
The objective of the present paper is to compare two different indexes of adherence to Mediterranean Diet (MD) from a pilot study on a sample of adolescents: the Mediterranean Diet Quality Index in children and adolescents (KIDMED) and the Mediterranean Diet Serving Score (MDSS). This work represents only one aspect of a broader and more articulated research that has as its purpose to evaluate lifestyle, eating habits, adherence to MD and nutritional status of adolescents of different cultures and geographical proveniences.
