Abstract:
This article presents a historical boarding of the Thermoelectrial Complex Jorge Lacerda since its state conception in 1956 until the privatization in 1997. The text is divided in five parts. Initially, it is made a panorama of the national system of generation and transmission of energy; in according to place, a brief story of the catarinense carboniferous complex is presented; after that, an reconstitution of the speeches, the laws and the projects is made that had preceded and given concrete conditions for the creation of the SOTELCA; in forth place, an evolution of the SOTELCA since the constitution to the incorporation made for the Eletrosul is presented; and finally, is analyzed the period that goes of this incorporation to the privatization.
