Abstract: The author of the Monograph Yuriy Miranovich Antonyan is Honored Russian Scientist, Honored Worker of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Doctor of Law, Professor, Professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Procedure of Russian State University for the Humanities.This review is an analysis of a monographic study “Totalitarian Crime†, dedicated to a very complicated and little studied problem in criminology. Totalitarianism as a system of social and government organization, having a tremendous influence on the entire history of mankind, it gave rise to a special type of crime, which is the most striking and perhaps the most important characteristic of totalitarianism.Special attention of the study is based on the disclosure of the legal nature and content of totalitarian crime, its causes and place in the causal complex of totalitarian leaders.In conditions of a high crime rate, as well as an unprecedented in its diversity and complexity of criminal activity, an in-depth criminal-psychological study of totalitarian crime is extremely relevant and important both scientifically and in practice.The monograph is presented to well-known and honored scientists, authors of many scientific works in the field of criminology, psychology and criminalistics, whose rich experience is confirmed by fundamental research, scientific and pedagogical, as well as practical law enforcement.
