Abstract:
In Russia, since the end of the last century, the development of hydrocarbon resources in the Arctic is increasingly moving from the stage of assessing the resource potential of the subsoil to the stage of determining the organizational and economic framework for the implementation of specific investment projects. Despite the different national interests that have certain specifics in Russia and foreign countries, the main vector of development of Russian and foreign cooperation in the Arctic region is the need to implement the national economic interests of each country. An example is the relationship between Russian and Chinese companies dedicated to cooperation in the field of strategic approach to the development of Arctic resources.
