Social risks of the pandemic

N. A. Voronina () and V. A. Volokh ()

RSUH/RGGU BULLETIN. Series Economics. Management. Law, 2022, issue 2

Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of a wide range of risks introduced by the pandemic, which have already manifested themselves, and which the world has yet to realize and evaluate, and which have to be fought. The pandemic forced states to quickly take special measures in order to counter the new global infection: from declaring emergency situations to imposing various restrictions, including those affecting human rights. In the context of social restrictions, there is a rapid transformation of the daily lifestyle and behavior patterns of the population, which adversely affects people’s health. All this has led to the fact that governments are forced to pay special attention to health issues.
