It is defined that nowadays the main consumers of banking services are representatives of the millennial generation, whose behavioral characteristics and preferences should be taken into account in practice. Authors show how innovative financial technologies influence the methods and approaches in the work of national banking organizations. Modern financial innovations are considered, which are gradually being tested, implemented and offered to clients by various Russian banks. It is emphasized that digital mortgage is one of the most popular banking products and the possibility of its digital registration has a beneficial effect on the development of that area in banking. Among the potential vectors for further development, an omnichannel approach to interaction with clients is highlighted.
